Founded in 2006, Focus Cubed is a communication consultancy helping multicultural teams in Asia-Pacific work better together not by understanding each other’s cultures, but by communicating more effectively across all of them simultaneously.
We help people communicate under pressure. When people hold back in meetings, decisions get made without the full picture. In multicultural teams the pressure is higher and the dynamics are harder to read. Some voices disappear. Some dominate. We work on both, using behavioral techniques, not cultural rules, that work regardless of who is in the room.
The diversity is already there—the difference is between having it and hearing it!
Our approach is practical, structured, and immediate. We don’t teach communication tips. We build behavioral skills that work in the next meeting.
We do this through three approaches: communication programs for teams, change management support for organizations navigating transitions, and coaching for leaders who need the full picture from their multicultural teams.
Communication programs for teams — practical skills that work across 3–6 cultures simultaneously, in the same room, at the same time. Our flagship workshops are Speak Up with Confidence and Confidently Facilitate Meetings.
Change management support — for organizations navigating strategy shifts, AI rollouts, or leadership transitions across cultures.
Coaching for leaders — for those who sense they're not getting the full picture from their multicultural teams.
See Our ProgramsGet StartedWarren has spent 30 years navigating the business world of Asia-Pacific. Fluent in English and Japanese, he has worked with Fortune 500 companies—Applied Materials, MetLife, Deutsche Bank, IBM, Oracle, SAP, and Hitachi—across the region, supporting leadership teams through business transformation and cross-cultural communication.
That experience led to one persistent insight: the biggest barrier to performance in multicultural teams isn’t knowledge—it’s communicating confidently under pressure. Communication Intelligence is his answer to that problem.
